AveloBot Pro
AveloBot Pro is the paid tier of the bot. It unlocks features on top of everything that ships in the free version. Pro lives on its own dashboard area at /pro — every Pro feature gets a card on that page, and the card shows the Manage button as soon as your workspace is entitled.
What's available today
- Custom Bot Account — replace the shared
AveloBotchat name with your own dedicated Twitch bot account. Useful for branding (@yournamebotposting in your chat) or to keep messaging under your own credentials.
More Pro features will land on the /pro page over time. Locked features stay visible on the page so you can preview what's available before subscribing.
Who can see the Pro page
Members with the pro.manage permission. By default that's the Owner, every Admin, and every Moderator. The Owner can adjust this on the Team & permissions page if you'd rather scope it more tightly.
Some Pro feature pages additionally require the Owner role (e.g. Custom Bot, because connecting a Twitch account is workspace-wide). Those gates are noted on each feature's page.
How a workspace becomes entitled
Three sources can activate a Pro feature on your workspace:
- Subscription — paid plan via the operator's billing system. Active for as long as the subscription runs.
- Trial — time-bounded free access (e.g. for early adopters or evaluation).
- Manual grant — your operator can grant or extend Pro features directly, useful for comp accounts, partners, or to bridge a billing hiccup.
Entitlements are checked at the feature level (e.g. pro.custom-bot), not at a single tier. If your subscription includes a feature you don't see active on /pro, contact whoever runs your AveloBot deployment.
What happens when an entitlement ends
Pro features fall back gracefully. For example, if your Custom Bot entitlement lapses, your stored bot connection stays in the database but is ignored: AveloBot transparently switches back to posting under the shared bot account. Reactivating the entitlement reactivates the connection — no need to reconnect.
Operators
If you run an AveloBot deployment, the Pro Entitlements admin page (/admin/pro-entitlements) is where you grant, extend, and revoke entitlements per tenant and feature key. It's hidden from regular users and appears under Admin Settings for accounts with operator privileges. The operator manual covers it; this page is for streamers.
